- It is advisable to book a table during holidays and weekends.

- Take aways and sit-down are prepared on order, waiting periods may apply. The hurrier you get...the slower it goes.
- We are fully operational during loadshedding. There might be challenges, but with your patience, we will overcome them.
- Only guide dogs are allowed inside the shop and the back garden area.
- We have limited dog friendly seating at the front garden in a shaded area.
- Please keep your furry friend on a leash in consideration for others
- Unless your doggy can scoop his own poop, please be a responsible parent.
- Sorry...We do not sell Veldskoen. You can have a look at www.veldskoen.com for a variety of styles and colours.
- Grapes will be available from January through to May.
- Please do NOT buy grapes from street vendors. This is not only stolen grapes, but can turn into a traumatic and expensive illegal stop next to the N1.
- Autumn is an excellent time to visit and see the amazing display of different colours of the vines. Bookings for photo opportunities is available through the tourism office.
- In winter we are blessed with snow caps on the Matroosberg mountains. Our inside area has multiple fireplaces to keep you cozy throughout the season.
- We have a wine cellar with a selection of wines from the Breede Valley. You are welcome to buy/bring your own wine to the café. There will be a small charge for ice per bucket.
