In the early days, the Farmstall was also an outlet for locally produced ‘Veldskoen’. The name stuck, the shoe unfortunately not. Leather ‘Veldskoen’ are readily available around stores and markets in the Western Cape.

The Hex River Valley is well known for its table grapes. Different varieties are available throughout the season which range from January to May. We offer an interesting variety of home-made goods from the area and around the Western Cape, trying to keep it as local as possible.

From rusks, baked cookies to traditional and interesting preserves, a wide selection of jams and toppings, a variety of nuts and dried fruits and popular wines from the Breede Valley, there is something on offer for everyone.
